Perot Museum of Nature and Science
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a dynamic place
that offers many different fascinating experiences, in addition
to amazing interactive exhibits. You will have the opportunity to
explore the museum’s 11 permanent exhibit halls while engaging
with museum educators and staff members from the BioLAB,
ScienceCAST, and Professional Learning areas, and more. Join
us for hands-on learning and live science demonstrations as we
amaze your brain.
Dallas Museum of Art
Despite acknowledgment by many that arts education is

important, when district budgets get tight, arts are sometimes
seen as optional—and as a result are often the first to be cut or
eliminated altogether. Join your colleagues for a field trip to the
Dallas Museum of Art, where you’ll learn firsthand the value of
arts education and walk away with information to help advocate
for arts integration in your district.
Dining options have expanded with four new restaurants now
located across from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
The new restaurants include Coal Vines Pizza, Biergarten on Lamar, Herrera’s Tex Mex Café, and Little Katana sushi restaurant—
all of which have outdoor patio space and underground parking.
The four new restaurants, located in front of the Omni, add
to the area’s roster of eateries, which currently includes Kay’s
Place, Texas Spice, Bob’s Steak & Chop House, and the Owners
Box sports bar.
